Punches are the active cutting part of a stamping die. On every stroke, they enter the material and determine cut quality, burr height, cut flatness, and overall process stability.
We supply standard punches according to ISO, DIN, NAAMS, as well as custom variants based on drawing documentation. Various geometries (straight, shaped, with shear angle, with internal channel), materials (e.g., high-speed steels, PM steels), and surface treatments (nitriding, PVD coatings) are available.
Correct clearance sizing relative to the die bushing, hardness control, and minimizing misalignment are critical. Incorrect combinations lead to rapid wear, burrs, or fracture.
