Punch retainer plates provide rigid and precise mounting of cutting tools in the upper part of the stamping die. They ensure alignment, repeatable positioning, and safe transfer of dynamic load on every stroke.

Critical factors include the machining quality of holes (H7/H6 per the system), flatness of contact surfaces, and material strength. Under high cutting forces, the plate must eliminate micro-movements that lead to gradual loosening, hole ovalization, or punch breakage.

We supply standard and custom retainer plates according to drawings— with precisely ground surfaces, optional hardening, threaded inserts, or special locking systems (e.g., side screw, wedge, or precision transition fit).
