Die bushings serve as the counterpart to the punch and ensure accurate guidance during cutting. Their role is to maintain correct clearance between the punch and the bushing, provide a clean cut, and minimize cutting-edge wear.
We supply standard and custom die bushings according to ISO/NAAMS/DIN, including flanged and non-flanged versions, with internal relief or special drawing-defined geometry. Various materials and surface treatments (e.g., nitriding, PVD coatings) are available to increase wear resistance.
Correct selection of clearance, hardness, and surface treatment is key to stable blank quality and long die lifetime.
