Lifting eyes are used for safe suspension and handling of stamping dies, injection molds, and other heavy components. Compared to standard screw eyebolts, modern swivel hoist rings are designed to adapt to the load direction and minimize the risk of side loading on the thread.
Fixed and swivel (360°) designs are available, including versions with multi-axis articulation and various strength grades (e.g., Grade 80 / 100). The key parameter is WLL, thread type (metric / UNC), and load direction.
Correct selection and installation are essential for safe handling. Incorrect use or undersizing can lead to thread deformation or failure during lifting.
