Guide posts ensure accurate guidance of the upper and lower die halves on every stroke. Their quality directly affects alignment, uniform loading of cutting and forming elements, and overall die lifetime.

We supply guide posts according to ISO, DIN, and automotive standards in various designs—smooth surface, hardened, ground, with wear-resistant surface treatments. Selection of material, hardness, and tolerance (e.g., h3, h4) is critical to minimizing clearance and distributing loads evenly.

For highly loaded dies, it is important to combine the post with the correct bushing type (bronze, composite, needle guide) and consider lubrication or maintenance-free operation.
