Strippers ensure safe and repeatable separation of material or the formed part from the punch or draw punch during the working cycle. A properly designed stripper system prevents material sticking, edge deformation, and unstable behavior at high takt rates.
Gas strippers use nitrogen springs to provide uniform and long-term stable loading, especially suitable for progressive and highly loaded dies.
Spring (mechanical) strippers are a simpler solution for less demanding applications or where easy serviceability without handling pressurized gas is required.
System selection depends on material thickness, working force, number of cycles, and die design.
